Coder’s Oath Text:
I promise to free my allocated memory.
I pledge to check Stack Exchange thoroughly before posting my question.
I vow to write clean code:
I will close my braces and end lines with a semi-colon (except in HTML and Python);
I will label all of my code clearly in the comments and resolve the to-dos therein;
I will follow formatting conventions.
I will validate all my pages with W3c.
I pledge to test frequently and in multiple ways: unit, integration, and user.
I will try not to weep over legacy code.
I will do my best not to BSoD when outside factors force me to renege on any of the previous.
I vow to help introduce new people to the joy of coding. To that end, I promise not to should “RTFM” in response to newbie questions, nor will I otherwise deliberately make newbies cry.
I will treat my fellow coders with respect regardless of any differences between us.
I will use my powers for good and not for evil.
